That's why a leading Italian company in the production of steel and aluminium cookware decided to turn to STIM to renew its digital infrastructure, making internal communications scalable and reliable even in case of high traffic.

The customer's priority was to implement a system that could effectively, quickly and securely connect employees and collaborators located across branches, with the ability to easily add extensions and integrate with the various corporate platforms in use.

A customised 3CX Platform

STIM's UCC Engineers implemented a 3CX platform, which allows unlimited extensions and simultaneous calls, with an on-premise Linux system, migrating the old system with any service interruption. 

The customer can now access advanced contact centre features such as reporting and call queuing, also thanks to the configuration of dozens of SIP Trunk extensions and the 64SC Enterprise licence, which make the infrastructure secure and stable, thanks to 3CX's integrated failover and standby licence, which prevents faults.

Wi-Fi Assessment & Survey

The use of DECT and Wi-Fi terminals made it necessary to implement a dedicated, high-performance wireless network in the company.

To do this, the STIM design team first developed traffic simulation software to carry out a site survey to define the concrete capacity of this Layer 3 network, and then collected the data, to be interpolated with mathematical models of radio wave propagation in order to define a final positioning of the WAPs that would guarantee the best possible performance.

The used innovative technology ensures speed and stability, optimal management of mobile communications and full compatibility with new and evolving standards such as BYOD.
