The need to operate in secure digital environments is a priority for modern companies
The 2020 emergency speeded this transition process up, making implementation of new models and new technologies urgent in traditional work dynamics. In order to overcome the problems caused by restrictions imposing use of innovative instruments that could enable all usual company activities and practices to operate remotely.
STIM was contacted by one of the main Italian asset management holdings, listed on the Milan FTSE MIB Stock Exchange, to optimise the digital acquisition and transmission of paper documents needing a remote signature.
IT security and protection of privacy: a solution for every challenge
Together with the Customer, we developed a complex digital transformation project for the document management process of orders collected all over the country by the Private Banker network.
The main challenge presented by this operation was the need to develop a plan that combined Privacy regulations linked to the electronic signature with the sending, receipt and filing obligations for these documents.
The goal: a secure, efficient, modern integrated system
So the decision was to conceive and implement a customised Mobile APP, to scan the document, its subsequent Datamasking and Privacy Compliance, and then send it by PEC (certified e-mail), being able to monitor how the dossier was progressing.
The code implemented with native Cloud logic exploits hardware resources and calculation power made available by virtual engines configured on the GCP Google Cloud Platform. This enabled eliminating Fax communication, often flawed, re-routing internal compliance and satisfying the Service Center cut-off times.
